September 11th is an emotional day for every American. One of the ways we choose to celebrate our freedom is by participating in Freedom Day USA.
Over $3,000 Raised During Light the Night
Last weekend, Williams and Daily Dental walked in The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Light the Night Walk to raise funds to help find a cure for blood cancers such as, leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma. This cause is near and dear to us because we lost the creator and founder of our practice, Dr. Michael D. Williams, to leukemia just a few short years ago.
A Pie in the Face to Defeat Leukemia
On October 10th, Williams and Daily Dental will be walking in The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Light the Night Walk to raise funds to help find a cure for blood cancers. The society is the world's largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research, education, and patient aid.
Dr. Craig's Trip to Guatemala!
About a year ago, I watched as a member of our church recalled his experience visiting Agua Viva, the orphanage in Guatemala that Christ Baptist supports. It was a moving speech and I turned to my son and said “Do you want to do that?” He surprised me by immediately agreeing it was something on his heart to do.
Dr. Craig is Going to Guatemala!
It has been two years since Dr. Craig has gone on a mission trip out of the country. In early July he is taking his son, Brock with a group from their church to Guatemala. They will be visiting the Agua Viva Children’s Home.
Capital Area Stand Down Event
As many of you know, for the past two years Williams & Daily Dental has participated in Freedom Day USA, which benefits Veterans in our area. A week ago today, Dr. Daily and his assistant Michelle participated in the Capital Area Stand Down Event in downtown Raleigh.
Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Light the Night Walk
As many of our friends and patients know Leukemia has had a major impact on our practice. Dr. Michael D. Williams, our founding doctor, struggled with the disease. As you can imagine we hold the search for a cure to Leukemia very close to our hearts.
Halloween Candy Buy Back
Halloween is upon us and though you may not realize it Halloween is the scariest day of the year for dentist everywhere! Children eating candy… all kinds of candy… chocolate candy, hard candy and, worse yet… CHEWY candy!!! Chewy candy that can get stuck between teeth and cause CAVITIES!!!!

Founded by Dr. Robert Martino, a dentist and business owner from West Virginia, Freedom Day gives us a chance to show our appreciation towards members and former members of our Armed Forces and their families.
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Light the Night Walk
As many of you know in 2012 we lost our founding dentist Dr. Mike Williams due to complications from Leukemia. To honor his memory our office is forming a team to participate in the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s “Light the Night” walk on October 11 at the Halifax Mall in downtown Raleigh.
Freedom Day 2014
We are once again participating in this event this year on Thursday, September 11th from 7:00 am – 5:00 pm. For those unfamiliar with Freedom Day it is a day where we provide free dental care to veteran’s, active military and their families.
Williams & Daily Food Drive
We are pleased to announce that we will be collecting food for Urban Ministries Food Pantry for the entire month of October. Please help us load up that pantry for the month of November and Thanksgiving by bringing items from the list below when you come in for your appointments.

Katie Goes to Haiti
One of our terrific Williams DDS dental assistants, Katie, got the opportunity of a lifetime when she traveled to Fonde Baptiste, Haiti for a week long mission trip over the Summer! The trip was meant to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the Haitian people with Bible study and actions of service.
Breast Cancer Awareness
October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and, most likely, all of us have been touched by this disease somehow in our lives. At Williams DDS, several staff members have battled the disease successfully, including office manager, Laura. She was recently interviewed by WRAL for their “Rex on Call” series on breast cancer awareness.
